Singapore, 6 December 2025 — In line with our ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility and community engagement, LBD Engineering Pte Ltd organized a meaningful CSR outreach event at Green Avenue Home for the Elderly. The initiative reflects our belief in giving back to the communities in which we work and building positive social impact beyond our project sites.
The event saw an encouraging turnout of about 50 volunteers, comprising LBD staff, management members, and their families. Together, the team dedicated their time and energy to improving the home’s environment and bringing cheer to its residents.
Event Highlights
- Facility Enhancement Works: Volunteers carried out improvement works including the laying of footpath slabs to enhance accessibility and general outdoor cleaning to create a safer and more pleasant environment for residents.
- Environmental Greening Initiative: As part of efforts to reduce heat and beautify the premises, 20 pots of Garcinia plants were donated and planted by the team.
- Technical Sharing Session: LBD staff provided a briefing and demonstration on pest control management, contributing our engineering expertise to support the home’s operational needs.
- Resident Engagement Activities: Volunteers organized five interactive game stations, distributed care packs containing daily necessities, and provided musical entertainment with familiar favorites from past decades, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere throughout the morning.
- Community Support: The event concluded with a presentation of a cheque donation to support the home’s ongoing programmes and upkeep.
Through this outreach, LBD Engineering fulfilled the commitments outlined in our CSR proposal and reaffirmed our dedication to supporting community well-being, inclusivity, and sustainable development.
